Latest News of INDIA: The 'lighter' Aamir...

After shying away from the media for some time now, Aamir Khan was finally caught on camera at a recent function at his alma mater- NM College, Mumbai. The star was spotted at the event in his ex-college, in an all new avatar. He was seen chatting with the students as well as the media and showed everyone a good time.

Aamir Khan revealed things about himself that very few people are aware of; like the fact that he studied in NM college and spent half his time in Bhaidas -- a local hangout spot. He also added that he was a part of a theatre group named -- Avaantar -- for a number of years.  This lighter side of Aamir, which was kept under wraps for a long time since his directorial debut  -- Taare Zameen Par -- was brought to light.

Aamir Khan -- attending an award function at a college festival and getting chatty with the media came as a surprise to one and all. When he was asked about his sudden presence at an event of this sort as compared to his much noticed absence at the recent Filmfare awards, pat came the reply, “I have come in front of the media here, haven’t I?” Aamir made the media’s day and hopefully from now on, we will be seeing Aamir around more often.
