There are so many chemical-based whitening products sold in
the market that many people shy away from them due to the possible side effects
they can bring to the skin. I am one of those people. This is why I looked for
more natural and safer ways to lighten my complexion.
As for Manuka honey, this is a type of honey from New
Zealand. In the past, honey has often been used as a whitening ingredient. It
gets rid of dark spots, scars and skin blemishes, It contains natural bleaching
properties along with vitamins and minerals.
Manuka honey is also a force to reckon with in the skin
whitening industry. Because it is honey, it has natural bleaching properties
that not only whitens skin but also reduces blemishes and dark spots. To top it
all off, it can protect your skin from bacteria and other harmful micro
organisms. It also serves as an antioxidant that can get rid of harmful free
radicals.
Foods like fruits and vegetables are incredibly healthy for
the skin, both for the hydration and for getting the vital nutrients. Berries
are delicious yet they contain high amounts of antioxidants which are great for
smooth, youthful skin.
Most people do not give supplements a chance to start
working. They expect that they can take a pill and wake up the next morning
looking ten years younger. This is just simply not the case. Resveratrol takes
time to work. It took time for your skin to age, so give it time to rejuvenate.
People often will change from supplement to supplement, this does no good and
only costs you money.
Knowledge is key when it comes to a lot of things in life,
and your skin care is no different. If you have oily skin, you should stay way
from heavier products, these are more likely to keep your skin oily and will
even weigh it down, not allowing it to breath. If you have drier skin, you
should avoid those products that have drying agents in them like alcohol. These
products will tend to do nothing more than to dry your skin out even more.
Combination skin is both oily and dry, there are specially formulated products
just for combination skin.
The following are some of the oldest tricks
Method 1: Papaya and Milk
Get ripe papaya. It should be the one that has a give to it when you press your
thumb on the fruit. This is easier to mash even without the use of your food
processor. You can mash a part of it as it is enough and add a bit of milk to
this mixture.
Method 3: Cucumber
Slices of cucumber placed on your skin are soothing. Also, it has natural
bleaching properties that can get rid of pigmentations and can help evenly
whiten your skin.
